game of thrones season 8 predictions

There is no way to describe how curious Game of Thrones fans are about its final season. It was started during 2011 and people had no idea what they will get for entertainment during the next eight years. Season 7 offered a very dramatic end that enhanced fans’ curiosity about what is going to happen in the first episode of Game of Thrones season 8. Fans had no idea that it will be the final season of their beloved TV series. Though it is clear now, people are more excited to see how the whole series will end. There are some Game of Thrones Season 8 Predictions that may soothe your curiosity.

What will happen in Game of Thrones Season 8?

There will be some spoilers so beware because most of these predictions will come true. There are a few things that will certainly take place in the new season of Game of Thrones.

  • The Winterfell may not last longer:

The Winterfell will get attacked from the north and therefore there is no chance that Winterfell will defend for a long time. It took only a few seconds to destroy the wall and King’s Landing is the only weapon that can work against the dragon. It is quite likely that the Northern Lords with Jon, and Dany will head towards south. They will confront Cersei, who is still defending the castle. The final confrontation may take place when the King’s Landing will be used against the Night King.

  • You may witness the Night King’s death during the early episodes:

For many fans it would be a big spoiler. George R. R. Martin revealed the details twice in a while. He had admitted end of Robb and Catelyn during his 2013 interview. In another 2014 interview he had hinted the same thing. He said he is afraid that the end of Game of Thrones should not be similar to the Lord of the Rings movie. The final episode may reveal that the Night King is being slain. It may show that Wights being dusted and all the inhabitants are living happily after the end. Cersei will be remaining as the final hurdle between the Iron Throne and Daenerys.

  • The dagger is going to be the most important object:

Do you remember that dragonbone-hilt dagger and Valyrian steel? It has been involved in the scenes as a main object since the first season. Littlefinger had passed it to Bran and then Catelyn passed it to Ned in King’s Landing. Littlefinger had got it back and then passed it to Bran. Though Sam had researched about that dagger, there was no description about its use for killing the dragon. It may not be used against the dragon, but still it will play an important role in the next season.

  • Jon might die after killing the Night King:

Jon was promised to be the prince. It seems like this might not happen. Though the Lord of Light has favored him as the real prince of Westeros, but first he will have to kill the Night King. The whole army of the Night King will get wiped out with his death. It will happen only when Jon would be ready to sacrifice his life.
